Video Footage Shows Fatal Shooting Outside St. Albans Sports Bar

The police have released video footage that captures a fatal shooting that took place outside a St. Albans bar Monday night.

The video shows two men coming out Cozy Corner Sports Bar, located at 194-01 Linden Blvd., at around 11:30 p.m. with one of them carrying a gun. The pair then cross the street.

Moments later, the man with the gun turns around in the middle of the street and starts firing multiple shots toward the entrance of the bar.

The gunman allegedly shot Diquan Orr, 33, in the chest, killing him.

The suspect, cops say, got into a dispute with Orr moments prior to the incident. It is unclear what sparked the argument.

The gunman and his associate drove off in a dark-colored Nissan Sentra and headed eastbound on Linden Boulevard

The gunman is described as being between 25 and 35 years old with a dark complexion. He was wearing a white hooded sweater, a black jacket, black sweatpants and black shoes at the time of the shooting.

The second man is described as being of a similar age and complexion. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants and black shoes.

Police from the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills are looking for three suspects who beat and robbed a 28-year-old man during a home invasion on the afternoon of Saturday, June 21. The three intruders slipped into an apartment building at 102-40 62nd Ave. at around 4 p.m.

The perpetrators allegedly forced their way into the victim’s apartment, punched him repeatedly in his body with closed fists, and forcibly removed $60 in cash and medication before fleeing the building in an unknown direction, police said Monday. EMS responded to the crime scene and transported the victim to Long Island Jewish Forest Hills, where he was listed in stable condition.
