A Queens Village man has been indicted for murder for allegedly stabbing his 72-year-old father to death.

Jaimie Walker, 30, was indicted by a grand jury Thursday charging him with murder and other crimes.

Walker, of Hempstead Avenue, allegedly choked his father, stomped on his head and stabbed him several times in the neck with a pair of scissors on Jan. 14, according to the charges.

The victim, Loandows Walker, was found dead and covered in blood on the bathroom floor of the family’s apartment by police officers that morning.

Officers also found the defendant’s 70-year-old mother, his 31-year-old brother and 29-year-old sister-in-law lying unconscious on a mattress inside the apartment. They had no visible signs of injuries, but were all rushed to a hospital. Police said they were all expected to survive and no charges have been filed in relation to their injuries.

Walker was arraigned on a four-count indictment charging him with murder in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and criminal mischief in the third and fourth degree, District Attorney Melinda Katz announced Thursday.

“This is a horrific crime,” Katz said. “The defendant repeatedly plunged the shears of a pair of scissors into his own father’s neck. The elderly man bled to death on the bathroom floor of his home. This kind of slaying is almost unimaginable.”

Walker was also charged with criminal mischief after he destroyed the interview room in the109th police precinct where he was being questioned.

He allegedly repeatedly slammed a table — breaking its leg — and then used the leg to smash the two-way glass mirror in the room, Katz said.
