Oct. 23, 2023 By Bill Parry A Manhattan man was criminally charged with felony hate crime after targeting a member of the Sikh onboard an MTA shuttle bus in South Richmond Hill on the morning of Oct. 15. Christopher Philippeaux, 26, of Park Avenue in East Harlem, is accused of taunting, punching and trying to knock off the traditional Sikh turban from the head of 19-year-old 19-year-old Mani Sandhu, who was on his way to a Sikh temple, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced on Oct. 21. Crooks make off with $90K worth of jewelry after breaking into Rosedale home

Oct. 23, 2023 By Ethan Marshall Police are searching for the two crooks who broke into a Rosedale resident’s home before attacking and robbing him and making off with more $90,000 worth of jewelry on Thursday, Oct. 19. According to police from the 105th Precinct, at approximately 12:40 p.m., a 36-year-old male was in his home, located the vicinity of 243rd Street and 140th Avenue, when the two unknown individuals forcibly entered the premises.
