During the 28-day period from Dec. 25 to Jan. 21, the number of reported rapes went down 20% in northern Queens, from 15 reported cases last year to 12 this year. For the 28-day-period of Nov. 13 through Dec. 10, both northern and southern Queens have seen a spike in rape cases compared to the same 28-day period last year.
