The NYPD is looking for two violent men who have targeted four spas across three Queens police precincts in the last week-and-a-half, leaving several spa workers injured in assaults and one man critically injured after he was shot, according to authorities.

Two men sought in armed robbery at South Ozone Park T-Mobile store: NYPD


Nov. 3, 2023 By Bill Parry A T-Mobile store located near the Van Wyck Expressway in South Ozone Park was robbed at gunpoint in October and police from the 106th Precinct are still searching for two men who allegedly pulled off the heist. Police reported that, at around 6:20 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23, a 23-year-old man was working in the corner storefront at 134-11 Rockaway Blvd. when two unidentified men entered the shop. One of the men pulled out a handgun, while his partner forcibly removed around $1,700 in cash from the register, as well as a Samsung cellphone….

Crunching the Queens crime stats: Rape cases rising, grand larceny continues downward trend

While much of it follows a similar trend to last week’s stats, there are some notable changes in trends. Rape cases in northern Queens rose from 15 to 20 year-over-year. Oct. 13, 2023 By Bill Parry Police from several Queens precincts are searching for three men who were behind a string of robberies last month. Two of the incidents occurred in the 106th Precinct in Forest Hills beginning on the night of Wednesday, Sept. 20. A 65-year-old man was walking along a residential block in the vicinity of 128th Street and 107th Avenue in South Richmond Hill at around 7:20 p.m., when two strangers approached him and shoved him into a driveway before forcibly removing his wallet, which contained his credit cards and $125 in cash.
