The three men walked into the 4 Star Deli & Grill at 218-30 Merrick Blvd. just before 10:30 p.m., pulled out silver handguns and demanded cash from a store employee, police said. Police from the 103rd Precinct in Jamaica responded to a 911 call of a vehicle collision near the intersection of 146th Street and Jamaica Avenue just before 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 4. Nov. 21, 2023 By Ethan Marshall The number of vehicles being stolen, categorized by the NYPD as grand larceny auto, has increased throughout Queens year-to-date, compared to the same period in 2022, according to the latest crime stats released by the NYPD. Grand larceny auto incidents are up 39.6% in northern Queens for the year through Nov. 19, rising from 1,718 incidents last year to 2,398 this year.
