Jan. 19, 2024 By Bill Parry The Springfield Gardens man who became the target of a citywide NYPD manhunt on Wednesday for a two-day stabbing spree in southeast Queens was criminally charged with attempted murder and faces up to 90 years in prison if convicted. Jermain Rigueur, 27, of 160th Street, was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court on a 19-count complaint Friday charging him with three counts of attempted murder and assault for attacking four people in Springfield Gardens and Jamaica, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced.
