A Ravenswood man was killed in broad daylight in South Jamaica Monday afternoon.

Police said Darius Guillebeaux, 47, was fatally shot at around 1 p.m. near the intersection of 148th Street and Rockaway Boulevard.

Emergency medical responders transported him to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Guillebeaux had been shot multiple times to the head and chest, the NYPD said.

Two men confronted Guillebeaux prior to the shooting, the NY Daily News reported. It was unclear what the dispute was about, and no arrests had been made as of Tuesday, according to the report and authorities.

Police said that the investigation into Guillebeaux’s murder was ongoing.

Guillebeaux lived in the Ravenswood Housing Development, according to the NYPD.

He had previously served three terms in New York prisons, two for selling drugs and one for robbery, Department of Corrections records show.

Guillebeaux was most recently released from prison on parole in 2017.
