Police have released a chilling video of a woman being fatally gunned down outside her home in Jamaica Friday morning.

The video footage captures Dawn Peterson, 39, being shot multiple times by a suspect at around 6:20 a.m. in front of her house, located at 155-37 Foch Blvd.

The harrowing video shows the gunman in pursuit of Peterson firing bullets at her in front of two parked cars outside her residence.

Moments later, Peterson can be seen lying helplessly on the road as the gunman fires multiple rounds and leaves her for dead.

Police responded to a 911 call shortly after the shooting and found the victim lying on the street with multiple gunshot wounds to her chest and back, cops said.

EMS transported her to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center but she could not be saved.

Police did not provide a motive for the attack or reveal the details leading up to the shooting. Cops did not say whether Peterson knew her killer.

The video footage also shows the alleged triggerman fleeing the scene in a silver-colored sedan.

The suspect is described as having a dark complexion and being around 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black-colored hooded bubble jacket and blue jeans.

Peterson has a three-year-old daughter and an 18-year-old son, according to published reports.

Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz visited the crime scene on Friday.
