The suspect allegedly approached the woman – who was standing on the platform at the Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike station – and punched her in the face with a closed fist, according to police. The incident took place on the E and F Manhattan-bound platform at around 8:50 a.m. on Oct. 7.

The alleged perpetrator fled the station on foot following the attack, police said.

Cops said the woman refused medical attention at the scene.

The perpetrator is described as being around 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He has brown eyes, black short hair and was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and a silver chain around his neck.

Police released video footage of the suspect.
