Two Killed, Two Injured in Spate of Shootings in Queens Village This Weekend

Two men were killed and two others were injured during a spate of shootings in Queens Village over the weekend.

Leonard Carlisle, 33, was shot in the head at Hillside Avenue and 207th Street at around 7:48 p.m. Saturday, according to cops.

Carlisle was transported to Queens General Hospital by EMS where he was pronounced deceased, police said.

No arrests have been made and no further details about the incident were provided by police.

On Sunday morning, a 34-year-old man was fatally shot at a different location in Queens Village, police said.

Ian Michael Harris was shot in the shoulder at 213th Street and 112th Avenue at around 7 a.m., according to police.

Harris was taken to Franklin Hospital Medical Center by EMS but later succumbed to his injuries, cops said.

No arrests have been made and no other information was provided by police.

Police said that both shootings are unrelated and investigations are ongoing.

Two people were shot and injured in a third shooting to take place in the neighborhood last weekend.

A 20-year-old woman was shot in the abdomen and a 24-year-old man was shot in the calf and knee in the early hours of Sunday.

The pair were shot by a male suspect following a dispute at 103-07 217th Place just after 3 a.m., according to police.

The woman was transferred to Jamaica Hospital by EMS while the man walked to the hospital, cops said.

Police said they found five shell cases at the scene.

No arrest have been made and both victims are expected to service their injuries.
